Michael Murphy
Drummer and Percussionist

Mike started his career as the original Drummer in the Jazz Fusion Group "Sweetbottom" in the early 70's performing in the greater Milwaukee Wisconsin area. He joined, "Matrix" in the mid 1970's and traveled extensively throughout the United States.

Tale of the Whale on -Warner Brothers Label
Harvest on the - Pablo Label

In the late 1980's he hooked up with former band member, Daryl Stuemer Sweetbottom for summer tours and recently collaborated on recording project entitled, Festival City. Mike is also playing with the Pop Rock group, Tony's Tygers.Mike recorded with Matrix early summer of 2001.

In addition to performing, Mike continues his studio work on various recording projects, commercial advertisements and teaching private lessons Mike was a guest clinician at Drummers for Jesus

Jill decided its time to publish a web site featuring all the drummers in Kenosha. The vision was to assist in marketing all of us drummers who may never get a chance to get published. Jill has recently teamed up with Drummer/ Composer David Jennings (from Chicago) in enhancing this website by interviewing professional Musician/Drummer/Composers from all over the world. We hope it will give Kenosha drummers the boost they need to grow as a musician and to further their career.
